Steel reducers, or reductions, are elements used in all types of installations (water and sewage, heating and gas), allowing to connect two pipes of different diameters without disturbing the flow of a given medium. The reducers are made of weldable steel. They are responsible for the tightness of pipe connections. They can be symmetrical or asymmetrical, thanks to which, by selecting the appropriate dimensional parameters, the course of the pipeline can be adapted to the most complex design requirements.
