Seamless precision tubes are widely used in the automotive industry for the production of engine parts, brake systems, shock absorbers, exhaust systems and other components that require high dimensional and quality precision.
EN 10305-1 Steel tubes for precision applications. Part 1: Seamless cold drawn tubes.
DIN 2391 Seamless precision steel tubes. Part 1: Dimensions. Part 2: TDC.
according to EN 10305-1: E215, E235, E355 (other steel grades upon agreement)
according to DIN 2391: St35, St45, St52
Delivery condition and thermal processing according to EN and DIN (DIN designation given in the brackets):
+C (BK) Cold drawn / hard (after the last cold forming no heat treatment)
+LC (BKW) Cold drawn/ soft (the last heat treatment is followed by cold drawing)
+SR (BKS) Cold drawn and stress relieved annealed (after the final cold drawing process the tubes are stress relieved annealed in a cotrolled atmosphere)
+A (GBK) Annealed (after the last cold drawing process the tubes are annealed in a controlled atmosphere)
+N (NBK) Normalized (after the last cold drawing process the tubes are normalized in a controlled atmosphere)
Tubes are tested according to the production standards. Eddy current test upon request according to PRP 02-74.
According to the production standards or, on request, colour stencilling along whole tube length according to customer specifications.
Without protection or oiled.
Tubes are packed in round or hexagonal bundles with weight max 2 000 kg, fastened with steel strips.
According to DIN 50049 (EN 10204) 3.1, 3.2
NOTE. Tubes for injection system of Diesel engines are produced upon agreement.
