Welded steel tubes for pressure purposes. TDC. Non-alloy steel tubes with specified room temperature properties.

Steel grades: P195TR1, P195TR2, P235TR1, P235TR2, P265TR1, P265TR2

Designation of steel according to EN 10217-1

Tightness

Tubes should be subject to water testing (70 bar) or electromagnetic testing.

Manufactufing process

EW – electric welding (for tubes TR2 only in high frequency, min. 100 kHz)
SAW – submerged arc-welding: SAWL – longitudinal submerged arc-welding, SAWH – helically submerged arc-welding
BW – continuous welding, only for steel grade P195 and P235 at D ≤ 114,3

Straightness

Total deviation: max 0,0015 L
Local deviation: max 3 mm / 1 m

Dimensions

Outside diameter D: from 10,2 mm to 2 540 mm
Wall thickness T: from 1,4 mm to 40 mm

Tolerance of outside diameter D

D ≤ 219,1 mm: ± 1% or ± 0,5 mm depending on which value is greater
D > 219,1 mm: ± 0,75 % or ± 6 mm depending on which value is smaller

Tolerance of wall thickness T (positive deviation does not cover the weld)

T ≤ 5 mm: ± 10 % or ± 0,3 mm depending on which value is greater
5 mm < T ≤ 40 mm: ± 8 % or ± 2 mm depending on which value is smaller

Tolerance of the exact length L

L ≤ 6000 mm, for outside diameter D < 406,4 mm: + 10 mm
L ≤ 6000 mm, for outside diameter D ≥ 406,4 mm: + 25 mm

6000 mm < L ≤ 12000 mm, for outside diameter D < 406,4 mm: + 15 mm
6000 mm < L ≤ 12000 mm, for outside diameter D ≥ 406,4 mm: + 50 mm

L > 12000 mm: + upon agreement
